No, you can seek out physiotherapy without having to obtain a referral from another medical provider.

Prior to your first appointment, you will receive an email where you will fill out your information, medical history, and anything else you would like me to review before we meet. If you don’t use email, I will have forms you can fill out when you get here.
On the day of your appointment, feel free to arrive a few minutes early. If you need to use the restroom, there is one located in the same building.
Please make yourself comfortable in the waiting room. Feel free to bring anything to further help tell me your story (medical imaging, any assistive devices you are using to help manage pain, etc).
At the time of your appointment, I’ll bring you to a spacious private treatment office, where we will discuss in detail your full history, current limitations, and your goals for treatment. Then we’ll go through a comprehensive examination, including movement analysis and any specific assessments related to your condition. Finally, we’ll get right to work on treatment and developing a plan to reach your goals.

Your comfort is my number one priority, so if you have any concerns about what to wear and how that impacts your treatment, please feel free to contact me!
I recommend you wear loose, comfortable clothing that you can move in. Shorts are preferable if we are working on your back and lower body. There are many treatment techniques that are best done when we can access your skin, so any clothing that allows that is helpful!
I have gowns and shorts available if needed. If you would like for me to assess your shoes, bring them in!
